Banana and Molasses Dessert with Nuts

 

There is nothing to fuss about this recipe other than its deliciousness, healthiness, and simplicity. It is this kind of sweet snack that we can make in minutes when we are craving sweet, or when our kids are nagging for chocolate snacks and you really want to keep them on a healthy track.

There is a big possibility that my fellow food bloggers would not share something as simple as this dessert. I am though sharing it with you because we all love quick and hassle-free ideas for desserts or snacks. Don’t we?

As I mentioned before, the Carob Molasses is super healthy with super healing values. It sweetens without having any sugar. And when you blend it with the super-food that is the Tahini paste, you have a creamy syrup way better than chocolate and as delicious.

THE RECIPE


For this sweet snack, you only need three ingredients: Banana, Tahini Molasses, and nuts. You don’t need a detailed recipe for it. I add a teaspoon of water to the Tahini Molasses to give it a more solid consistency similar to chocolate cream.

Healthy Non-Fat Banana with Tahini Molasses and Nuts

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1/2 cup Tahini Molasses Refer to my recipe; link above in the article.
  • 2 tbsps Macadamia Nuts (raw) broken in small pieces
  • 1 tsp Water

Instructions

  1. Place a banana in each plate, and slice them in rondelle.

    Add 1 tsp of water in the 1/2 cup of Tahini Molasses, and mix well. (this will allow it a more solid consistency)

    Drizzle at once one tbsp on each sliced banana lengthwise. Drop one full tbsp of the Molasses on the side of each banana (refer to photo).

    Sprinkle the nuts over, and enjoy!
