A Delightful Creamy Smoothie

of Mango with Yogurt and Walnuts

This Mango smoothie is as succulent as it looks. It is refreshing and light. It is simply naturally sweetened by mother nature. It combines juicy and creamy textures with the added crunchiness of walnuts. And it can be prepared in 15 minutes only!

So, it is a healthier choice for a sweet snack between meals. Its quickness to prepare is also a big plus if you are planning a birthday party and have other things also to prepare or bake. You can also offer to make them for the family BBQs.

They look super amazing, super delicious, super festive at the reception table, and everybody will love them!

This recipe is for 3 glasses. It uses 2 Mango fruits, plain yogurt, and walnuts. No added sugar! The sweetness comes only from the Mangoes.

We blend 1 Mango into a creamy juice. The 2nd Mango will go in bites between layers of fresh yogurt over the smoothie. The layering ends with yogurt at the top, which we garnish with walnuts.

Make sure to use good fresh mangoes that are ripe enough. Here is how to choose your best mangoes at the supermarket or fruit market:

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR BEST MANGOES AT THE STORE: Ripe Mangoes are softer and slightly heavier than the unripe ones. The fragrance is a good indication of a nicely ripe mango. By the stem end is your best bet to detect the smell that should be sweet. Be prudent not to choose a Mango that is way too soft. The ripeness might have turned to sourness. So, go for the smell, the texture, and the weight.
