The Sunflower Avocado Toast
Do you love Guacamole? This is even better! And easier to do in no time. It is a delicious and nutritious toast you can have for snack, or breakfast, or simply when you feel like eating something between homework. The avocado is a very healthy fruit.
It’s incredibly nutritious with plenty of Vitamines. They are even healthier than Bananas because they contain more potassium. They also contain antioxidants that help protect the eyes.

So, about today’s Sunflower Avocado Toast:
Two ingredients only: Fresh Avocado, and whole-grain bread!
We scoop the flesh of the avocado with a spoon and onto a plate. We mash it with a fork and season it with little salt. We toast 2 slices of bread in the toaster, and then we spread the mashed avocado nicely on the bread.
The seasoning that follows is unique in its kind. We mix several seeds and flakes, and sprinkle on the avocado. You will love this toast! So will your family if you are up to make enough for everybody!

Sunflower Avocado Toast
- 2 slices Whole-Grain Bread
- 1 Avocado (large)
- 1 dash Salt
The Seasoning Group
- 2 tbsps Sesame Seeds
- 2 tbsps Sunflower Seeds
- 1 tbsp Dry Minced Onion
- 1 tbsp Dry Minced Garlic
- 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 tsp Salt
Preparing the Seasoning
In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients of the Seasoning Group.
Transfer the mixture on a frying pan, over the stove. Turn the heat to Medium, and toast them, turning them constantly for about 5 minutes. Transfer them back into the small bowl, and set aside to cool.
We are going to use only some of this mixture to season the toasts. The remaining, you are going to store them in a glass container or a spice container. You will use them later when doing these toasts again. You may also use them sprinkled on toasted butter bread.
Preparing the Avocado Toasts
Cut the avocados in two, and discard the pits.
With a tablespoon, scoop the flesh onto a bowl. Sprinkle a dash of salt on.
With a fork, mash well the avocado into a creamy spread.
In the toaster, toast to a golden color the slices of bread.
Set them on a plate, and spread on them evenly the creamy avocado.
Sprinkle all over each 1 teaspoon of the Seasoning. You may go up to 2 teaspoons if you like.
They are now ready! Serve immediately, and enjoy!
